I happen to be dying my curtains today (yes, I do a lot of weird crafts/projects – I even have a special “dying dowel rod” for my projects) and have to sit by the washing machine the whole time to make sure it doesn’t drain the dye. I have to keep starting the cycle over so it’s constantly swishing around the curtains in the dye, so I’ll be sitting at my computer for the next 2 hours (it’s in the laundry room… not quite as weird as it sounds). If Evy and Vada keep busy with their babies and playdoh, I will attempt to blog some newborns!
Newborn Austin’s session was all the way back in mid January… yeah, totally need to catch up my blogging!
Here’s his baby story from his mom:
My husband and I decided we wanted our 2 year old daughter to have a sibling to grow up with. Even though I had a miserable pregnancy and delivery with our daughter, we have been so blessed with a beautiful, intelligent little girl. With my second pregnancy I was excited to find out it was a boy, but also nervous about the unknown. I think my husband was secretly hoping for a boy, but he would never say that. When our son was born I was in awe. He was so amazing, my perfect baby boy. I realized a different gender is nothing to be scared of. Dad took over very naturally when I had complications postpartum. We were so happy when we finally got home and couldn’t believe we had this amazing little guy.
Mom preferred mostly neutrals for Austin’s session 🙂 Here are some of my favorites!
